A widespread tradition of the Erzgebirge is the passing on of the business to its descendants. But Katrin Eckert saved a company from the closure in 2010 by taking over the company Ulbricht from Seiffen, which has existed since 1888, and continues the range of folk art from the Erzgebirge or has even expanded it by offering illuminated Christmas stars.
